A Fort Payne man has died following a single-vehicle wreck in Pinson, according to the Jefferson County Coroner鈥檚 Office.
The coroner鈥檚 office says 67-year-old Carl Stanley McMurrey was driving a Ford Mustang Friday when the incident occurred.
He was pronounced dead over the weekend at UAB Hospital.
The wreck occurred in the 6700 block of Highway 79.
The Jefferson County Sheriff鈥檚 Office is investigating.
