A Fyffe man has died from injuries received in a crash last week.
James R. Posey, 68, died Tuesday after being injured in a two-vehicle crash about 2:50 p.m. Friday.
The Ford F-150 he was driving was hit by a Ford F-350, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Association, on Alabama 72 near DeKalb County 72, about two miles south of Rainsville.
Troopers said Posey, who was not wearing a seatbelt, succumbed to his injuries while being treated at Erlanger Baroness Hospital in Chattanooga.
The crash remains under investigation.
